Show PARLIAMENT DISSOLVED. Englishmen Will Now Prepare for the Festive Candidate for Office. London. With the dissolution of parliament on Monday, all formalities preliminary to the election of a new parliament were completed. The proclamation pro-clamation of dissolution summoned the parliament to assemble on January Janu-ary 31, 1911. Among the first of its members to be elected unopposed will be Arthur J. Balfour, the opposition leader, the Liberals having decided not to contest his seat for London. On the stock exchange, ex-change, where regular dealings have been instituted in bets on the election, the feeling seemed to anticipate a reduction re-duction in the Liberal majority. ' |
