The following account Is, clipped from last Monday's Deseret Evening News: At the family residence, 850 Coats-vllle Coats-vllle avenue, Ruby von Nordeck died at 11:10 Sunday night after a severe Illness of nearly four weeks, of pneumonia pneu-monia which terminated In spinal meningitis. She was born October 12, 1839 at Provo, daughter of Paul Ton Nordeck and Carrie Bean von Nordeck of this city. For over two years she was postmistress at Gunnison, Gunni-son, Utah, after her father's resignation resigna-tion as postmaster, whose assistant ahe had been for six years. She was 9 igaged in the postal department, stationed at Schramm-Johnson's.drug store No. G in this citv, at the time of her sickness. Her mother died March 2.i, 1914 in this city. She is survived 1'5-her father, a druggist and one sister, sis-ter, Miss Grace von Nordeck. Miss von Nordeck was a niece of Mrs. J . L. ilene and Mrs. Emily Payne of this city and also of Mrs. Lizzie A. Peterson Peter-son of Ephraim, Utah. She was a faithful member of the Richards vvaid. Funeral services were held Wednesday Wed-nesday of this week under the direc. tloii of Bishop J. A. Rockwood of Richards ward. |
