Show LOCAL ECHOES. Home missionaries are appointed to speak at the ward service next Sunday. Sun-day. Is it wet enough? The preipita-tlon preipita-tlon is remarkable for this section of the state, and rain here at this season of the year quite unusual. The Primary association gave a dance at tle R. S. hall on Tuesday night, that made good in both a social so-cial and financial way. C. D. Strang, doing business as jeweler at Mt. Pleasant, was the guest of M. D. Beauregard a few days en-route en-route to Richfield for an extended visit. Austin Kearns and family met at the home of his son, "W. A. Kearns, on Monday afternoon to celebrate the latter's forty-eighth annivarsary. Dinner was. served and a charming time spent afterward in ayisic and singing. The. regular hour of convening Sunday Sun-day school has been changed from 10 to 10:30 o'clock, and the general priesthood priest-hood meetin of the ward will hereafter hereaf-ter meet at 0:30 o'clock each Sunday morning instead of convening Monday Mon-day nights. The Cleofan gills spent a most enjoyable en-joyable evening Tuesuay, as the g?est of Miss Frances Pace. The hostess complimented to the Casino theatre and afterwards gave her guests, twelve in number, a luncheon at the Modern confectionery. Needless to add the participants appreciated the good will of Miss Pace. To celebrate her husband's birthday birth-day Mrs. Hyrum Fredrickson gave at the home a delightful party, last Friday Fri-day evening, to a number of her friends. A most delicious lunch was served, and the evening spent playing play-ing games and in dancing' Mrs. Fredrickson proved to be a charming hostess. Those present were: Mayor and Mrs. Joseph Christenson, Mr. ani Mrs. O. I. Rasmusson, Mr. and Mrs. Marius Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. Charles M. Nielson, Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Tol-lestrup, Tol-lestrup, the Misses Bywater, the Misses Parry, Miss Jean Winder,' Miss Erma Lundeberg, Miss Wanda Niel-son, Niel-son, Messrs. Joel E. Ricks, K. H. Williams, Wil-liams, J. W. Jones, P. P. Childs. W. E. Tollestrup, Roy Childs and Alma Fredrickson. |
