A new orchestra, under direction direc-tion of K. J. Bird, furnished music. Juvenile Judge L. D. Sorenson, accompanied ac-companied by the county probation officer will be in Gunnison to address the people Sunday, both in parents class and at the afternoon service. Mrs. Delia Edwards entertained a party of friends at a heme social on Wednesday evening. The Cleofan girls were delightfully entertained by Miss Charlotte Parry, last Tuesday evening at the Valley house. Snowballs and American beauty roses formed an attractive arrangement ar-rangement of decorations. The guests, at 10:30 o'clock, were escorted to the dining room, where a delicious luncheon lun-cheon was served. Courses were laid for Misses Jean Winder, Taluia Met-calf, Met-calf, Susan Swain. Myrtle Harmon, Minerva Mace, Mary Bywater, Leola Childs., Lois Mace and Dora' Bywater. Assisting the hostess in serving, were Mrs. J. A. Larson and Miss Winni-f Winni-f red Parry Various games and a program pro-gram of music, passed the time enjoy-ably enjoy-ably after luncheon. |
