Callender was arrested in Salt Lake City Saturday afternoon by Sheriff Adamson for the embezzlement of nearly $15,000 of the funds of the Too-- 1 ele Valley Ry. Co., for whom he had been station agent for the past seven years. He was brought to Tooele Sunday morning and placed in the county jail to await the results of an audit of his accounts which is being made by the officials, when the exact amount of his defalcation will be known.
