Show A NATURAL DEATH. Mr. C. P. Mason yesterday received the news of the death of his mother in St. Albons, Vermont. She was seventy-six years of age. She was in her usual health until eleven days before her death, . 'j when she complained of extreme weakness and j look to her bed. She experienced no pain, it was ! simply the machinery of her body running down, so the weakness increased until finally sleep came and in that sleep she was transtatetl. Without ' f apprehension or pain or fear, she finally fell asleep and as she slept the brother of Sleep came and touched her lips and her eyes and she was still. A long life was ended without a jar and around her was drawn the mantle of everlasting peace and the calm of the evening changed to the eternal morn. , 1 . 1 1. 1 |
