Show SENATOR LOVE'S CHEAP COAL. At a banquet some weeks ago, Senator Love predicted that tho time was soon coming vhen Senators would not be elected by one man, and when coal could be purchased at greatly reduced rates in Salt Lake City. The Senator-election part is not of immediate moment, but the coal is. When is the Senator going to get that cheap coal for the people? There are ample coal measures meas-ures within from 30 to 100 miles of this city and close beside the railroads. Allowing 50 cent3 for mining, one dollar for freight, one dollar for the coal and 50 cents for delivery, and all interested interest-ed would have a better thing than a gold mine. When is Senator Love going to get in his work and give us, not cheap coal, but coal at a reasonable reason-able cost? |
