That Section 294 of tho i Revised Ordinances of Salt Lako City I of 1903 bo and tho samo hcroby Is I amended and re-enacted so as to read f as follows: 1 Section 294. Duty of Health Commls- sloner (Seo Nuisances, Section 48C). 4 The Health Commissioner shall be the j oxecutlvo officer of tho Board. Ho shall take notlco of all ordinances relating to tho sanitary condition of tho city and enforce tho samo, and to this end he Is horoby authorized to enter, In tho daytime, any promises, houses or buildings build-ings in tho city or within fivo miles thereof; ho shall lssuo all necessary permits for tho burial, removal or other disposition of tho bodies of deceased persons. Tho Health Commissioner Is also authorized au-thorized to employ ono competent nurso i for tho Isolation Hospital at a salary of $100.00 por month, and a steward for said hospital at a salary of $75.00 por month, and a cook at said hospital, at a Balary of $50.00 per month, all such f employes to bo omployod during tho pleasure of tho City Council.
