That Section 508 of tho Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City bo, and the same hereby Is amended so as to read as follows: Section 508. Tho Recorder shall have power to appoint, during: tho term for which he is elected, subject to confirmation confir-mation by the Council, the following deputies and assistants: One Deputy Recorder, who shall also act as Clerk of tho City Council Committees, Com-mittees, at a salary of twelve hundred C$1,200) dollars per annum; Three Doputy Rocordors, two of whom shall act as clerics of tho City Court, at a salary of ton hundrod and eighty ($1080) dollars per annum; and one of whom shall act as clerk of the Juvenile Court, at a salary of nine hundred ($000.00) dollars por annum; Two Clerks, at a salary of nlno hundrod hun-drod ($900.00) dollars oach, por annum; an-num; Two stenographers for tho City Court, at a salary of sovon hundred and twonty ($720.00) dollars oach por annum, all of which salarlos shall bo paid monthly as aro tho salarlos of other city employees.
