The two new pumps will boost the flow of water from three rew wells north of Garfield and a well east of Tooele from 15,000 gallons per minute to about 26.000 gallons per minute. The new installation is located north of Utah Highway 201 at the Company's No. 4 pump house. The project included the laying of a new steel pipe line from the pump house to the reservoir at the Arthur mill. Company officials said tliat without the three new wells and the new pump installation, the operations would have faced a water shortage this summer. A program of securing new water has been under way for the past two years.
