Jay Davis W. Smith T ournament Tribute Paid n Vernal Jay Davis, 33, Hunter resident and merchant, succumbed at 2:00 a. ni. Wednesday in a Salt Lake Hospital after a short illness. He had entered the hospital preparatory to surgery Wednesday. Mr. Davis, owner of the Davis Lumber Company in Hunter, was regarded in this vicinity, and his death came as a sad shock to his devoted family and wide circle of friends. He was born October 24, 1920, a son of Reuben and Martha Davis, residents of this area for many years.
