Notice To Bidders Office of the Engineer Granger-Hunter Improvement Dist. 93 East 7720 South Midvale, Utah May 20, 1953 In aecoi dance with the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth, proposals will be received Improveby the Granger-Hunte- r ment District, hereinafter called District, at the office of the Engineer until 4:00 p. m., June 15, 1953, and at the Monroe School, 4000 We.--t and 3500 South Street from 2:00 p. m. until 4:00 p. m. on June 15, 1953, for the following: The furnishing of all labor, tools, equipment and other similar items necessary to the installation only of a water pipe line system in Granger and Hunter, Salt Lake County, Utah, as more fully set forth in the plans and specifications prepared by David L Gardner and John Neff. The main Hems of construction for this project are: 5,280 feet of 10" and 10,560 feet of 3" steel pipe, 10 gage, dipped and wrapwith dresser couplings, ped 54,824 feet of a and 66,426 feet of 4" mechanical joint castiron, 150 class water pipe with fittings and valves, 900 service connections and 90 fire hydrants. Plans and specifications will be available in the Engineers Office after June 1, 1953, where they may be reviewed by the prospective bidders. Bids will be opened at the Monroe School on or shortly after 4:00 p. m., June 15, 1953, by the Board of Trustees of the Granger-HuntImprovement District Instructions to bidders, plans, specifications, form for proposal, contract and bond may be obtained upon application at the Engineers Office after June 1, 1953, upon deposit of $25.00, which will be refunded providing the bidder submits an acceptable bid. Proposals will be submitted only on the attached form designated, Proposal" and may be rejected if it appears that there have been any alterations, amendments or modifications thereof, or if the Proposal is in any way conditional or incomplete. The Proposal shall be presented or mailed by the party executing it, hereinafter referred to as the 'Bidder" under sealed cover, which shall be conspicuously marked Bid for Installation Only of Water System in Granger-HuntArea." The Proposal may be withdrawn by the bidder at any time prior to the time specified above for the opening of bids, upon filing a written notice of withdrawal with David I. Gardner at his office in Midvale, Utah prior to 1:00 p. m., June 15, 1953, or thereafter until 3:00 p. m., June 15, 1953, with David I.
