Haws and granddaughter, Twilla Wischow, who returned Wednesday from a month's vacation trip to Burbank, California, where they were guests of Mrs. Haws' parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Clark, brothers and sisters. V 1 Mrs. Haws reports that the flood damage was terrific in the California cities, although her parents property escaped damage. Considerable land will not be used for homesteading, as formerly planned, due to the great flood Friday, Feb list debria. Mrs. Haws returned home to observe her 34th wedding anniversary and birthdate. A family dinner was held Thursday, January 24th at her home with covers laid for eleven guests. A dainty luncheon was served, and the time spent chatting and sewing by the ladies who were guests at a luncheon Wednesday of this week at the home of Mrs. Dean A Moffat in Salt Lake City. Gathen Mrs. 0. C. Finley entertained members of the Firemen Ladies Auxiliary Monday evening at her home at a prettily planned party. Tables of cards were played and prizes given to Mrs. Lillian Haws and Mrs. Jean Strong. The membership will be entertained February 11th by Mrs. Haws.
