He hasn't checked in with me so . I don't know if he bagged anything any-thing or not! Frank Coleman takes an early walk each morning and has run across quite a number of interesting inter-esting things. His latest find was a magnetic key holder, in the street by the elementary school. It still has the key in.it. So if one of you think you have a spare hidden away and you haven't maybe you'll want to check with Frank. Frank and Kathryh received a phone call from Boyd Alvey (son of Hode and Ila Alvey) a few days ago. He lives in Sacramento, Calif., now. They said they had a nice long visit with him. He must have been homesick for the old town. Dale Lyman went to the hospital hos-pital again last week, this time to have a toe removed. We hope this will make y6u feeT'better, Dale. Just don't forget and kick with that foot! ' ' Deon Alvey, Geraldine Liston and Marlene Haws went to Hatch for the funeral services of Garth Heap last week. The first person they saw when they got out of the car was Sharon Dale Marsh! They all agreed that neighbors should car pool more often! Our condolences to the Heap family. Great people! Wade and Lori Beebe and family made a trip to Beaver in August to help celebrate the 90th birthday of their grandmother, grand-mother, Erma Smith. She is the mother of Cherie Beebe. They had a good time and took five-generation five-generation pictures while they were all together. Ryan and Ashley (Beebe) Chidister, Cedar City, were there also with their new baby boy, Liam, who was born on July 28. He is the first grandchild of Wade and Lori. Congratulations to parents and grandparents. The Beebes have heard from their son Scott, who is serving an LDS mission in Florida. They had been worried because of the Hurricane and bad weather weath-er there, but he is okay. Sylvia Luker has been to Salt Lake City again and had the cast taken off her foot. It is doing better but the doctor thinks she may need more surgery on it. While they were there, she and Monte were able to get together 1 wrth part of their family; Scotland Scotl-and Cathy Luker, Mickey and Chante Vrines, Chance and Waleska Luker and their famiT lies. They were also delighted to get to see their little granddaughter grand-daughter Cassidy Luker whose father passed away a year ago in July. They don't get to see her very often so they were pleased to see her this trip. Dee and Vida Frost came from LaSal to visit with Garneal Smith and to attend the farewell testimonial of their good friend Sue Bassett. Sue has gone into the LDS mission home in Provo to prepare pre-pare for her mission in Tonga. She will be greatly missed at the elementary school where she has been teaching and also in her LDS Second Ward. She had a lot of family and friends here but I didn't get any names. Her mom is Enid Bassett of Parowan. Hopefully everyone will be well by the time you read this. Winter is coming soon so try to stay healthy! ' |
