Show Antimony flews By Betty Wiley 624-3215 Noal Black, son of Herman and Jane Black and brother of Burns Black, passed away the first of the week. The services were held up north and he was buried here in Antimony An-timony on Saturday. Burns Black was in Provo at his son's home for several days as he had pneumonia again. Hopefully he will be able to come home in time for the burial of his brother. Speakers from the Panguitch LDS Stake who talked on Sunday were Carolyn Dalton representing the Stake Young Women's program and DeVon Owens from the Stake High Council. Mike Porter and Oli Lindgren are still in Ecuador and I'm sure it will be exciting to find out if they were able to find the ruins and get some pictures. They should be back before Christmas. George Jolley has had cataract surgery and isn't it wonderful what can be done now? Chantry Brindley was on his way to school at the Tech (Snow College South) in Richfield, when he hit a large rock in the road down the canyon. He was able to stop before the next rock, as it would have put him in the river. He totaled to-taled the front end of his truck. His brother, Ladd Brindley, took the truck to Cedar to see if it could be repaired. Chantry leaves at 6:30 a.m. for school at the Tech so it was still dark and he could not see the rocks. Jeremy and Jan Wiley, with her mother and Jan's daughter, Gretchen, came for Thanksgiving and joined Van, Betty and Tom (See ANTIMONY on page 5-A) ANTIMONY From Page 2-A Wiley for dinner at Raymond and Roma's house. Tom and Sally East, Bill and Jane Wiley, and Wade and Jennifer Wiley and the two boys all had dinner together. Cole Montague, son of Codas Montague was awarded the Lil Ab-ner Ab-ner title at Piute High School. Crystal Hatch of Koosharem was awarded the Daisy May title. Both students are very active and score' high academically. Cole Montague is a wrestler and is very supportive of all the sports at Piute. Marcia Tobiasson had to work on Thanksgiving and her family all had dinner with their grandparents, Pete and Irva Sudweeks in Kingston. King-ston. If you haven't seen the outside out-side Christmas decorations at Irva's, you should drive by at night when the lights are all on. |
