She is in the Garfield Memorial Hospital and we wish her a speedy recovery. Sam and LaRae Pollock had a houseful of visitors over the weekend. Son Sam and wife Rebecca Pollock and family came from Laurel, Mont. Another son Clint and wife Amy Pollock and family visited from Sheridan, Wyo. Kenny Pollock, a son, and his fiancee Jody Bunker traveled from Laramie, Wyo. Sister Dana Preator and family of Laramie, Wyo., and sister Kelli and husband Mike Aagard, also of Laramie were there, too. Damon and Megan Brinkerhoff and baby Casia came over from Milford. They stayed with Danny and Wendy Brinkerhoff but enjoyed visiting with all the family members. Aunt Francie Weeks, La Rae's sister, was down from Greybull, Wyo. Maybe what attracted everyone was the fact that Elder Nick Pollock had just returned from serving his LDS mission. Bryce Valley High School graduation was very nice and all the Seniors looked so happy. Michael McLean did a wonderful wonder-ful job of entertaining everyone and talking to the graduates. Paul and Keela Mangum have had lot of company so far this summer. Marie Richardson of Iraan, Tex., was here for a month. Uschi Niedecken of Cologne, Germany brought her parents Ronnie and Jenny with her to show them the West. Then Charles and Daphne Bridges of Boiling Springs, N.C., came and brought grandson grand-son Zeke with them. They live close to where Shanon Pollock is on his LDS mission so they also visited with Shannon's parents par-ents Jeannene and Vance Pollock and are going to try to visit Shanon when they get back home. Keela has been busy showing everyone around and-enjoying and-enjoying their company. Shawn and Crystal Mortensen took their horses to Beaver to see them run. Two of the horses won first and one of the horses took second. It was quite a thrill. Kent and Betty Wintch had their daughter Charlene Higuera and her entire family visit. Heidi and Brad Baird and their children, Allen and Omali came, as well as Krysti and James Olson and their children, Ashily, L. J. and Samuel Ty. Russel Higuera also spent the Memorial, Day holiday visiting with Kent and Betty. They were comforted to see how beautiful the the grave of their husband (See TROPIC on page 3A) Tropic News From Page 2-A and father Edward Higuera looked. Cami Mangum and sons Stetson, Codi, and "Tuffy", went to Grand Canyon to stay with dad Tawn Mangum for the summer. Before moving down to Grand Canyon, Cami went to Spring City to visit her grandfather grandfa-ther and spend his 92nd birthday with him. They had a very nice time. |
