Show jjj "1 Winners cf the Garfield County Domestic Violence Awareness Poster and Poetry contest this year were Emily Matthew, Sara Marker, Ashlee Orton, HoDy Talbot, back row. Brandy Lee Baldwin, and Tiffany Bulkley, front row. Winners Named In County Domestic Violence Awareness Contest In recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Week, October 17th through 24th, the Garfield County Domestic Violence Coalition sponsored a poetry and poster contest. First place winners won a plaque featuring their entry and a certificate. Second place winners received a purple spiral pen and a certificate. Third place winners received a purple knotted pencil and a certificate. Those individuals receiving honorable mention recognition received a sticker and a certificate. First place winners in the poster contest were: Tiffany Bulkley, Emily Matthew, and Brandy Lee Baldwin-Panguitch, Middle School. Second place winners in the poster contest were: Chantel Henrie-Bryce Valley. Autumn Excell and Sara Macklin--Panguitch Elementary School. Jeffery Perkins, Laura Boshell, Devin Englestead, Meghan Payne, Matt Black and Chase Englestead-Panguitch Englestead-Panguitch Middle School. Third place winners in the poster contest were: Samantha Young and Matt Young Panguitch Elementary School Holly Hulet, Crystal Burns, Justin Talbot, Cassidy McCollough, Gregory Lloyd Mack, Michael Aaron Black, Cody Bremner, Kasey Owens, Adam Howard and Brett Sawyer Panguitch Middle School Honorable mention in the poster contest were: Jake Hailstone, Mike Healy, Stuart Mitchell, A.J. Brown and Ashlee Owens-Panguitch Middle School. First place winners in the poetry contest were: Sara Marker-Panguitch Marker-Panguitch High School. Holly Talbot and Ashlee Orton-Panguitch Middle School. Second place winners in the poetry contest were: Anthony Rose, and Katrina Muir-Bryce Muir-Bryce Valley. Alesha Pollock, Pam Prince, Emily Wilson, Meghan Payne, Shelly Hatch, Mendy Orton and Alison Yardley-Panguitch Yardley-Panguitch Middle School. Third place winners in the poetry contest were: Joseph Rose and Kimberly Rose-Bryce Valley Hannah Gregurek, Kali Moore, Lacee Leach and Willie Benson-Panguitch Middle School. Honorable mention in the poetry contest were: Acey Burningham, Ashlee Owens, Stacee Stewart, Dani Griffin, and Kim Wilson- Panguitch Middle School. The Domestic Violence and Awareness Contest helps to raise the awareness of citizens of Garfield County to the growing problem of Domestic Violence.
