Reeves said, "we have to go so the doctor can tell us how we feel." He was well pleased with the progress Laura is making, her bones are knitting but it will be some time before she can put much weight on her leg. Reeves had a back treat ment which he thinks helped Wallace Roundy, daughter Betty Alvey and family went to Salt Lake for the weekend. Smith accompanied them, Jerry Roundy was here from Ha waii and Edna Smith from Seattle so Floyd came from Men don, Wavie and Ralph Siple and family from Idaho, Glade and Vivian live in Salt Lake City so they met at Vivian's home for turkey dinner and visiting. Wallace went on to Idaho to visit the Siples and an old missionary companion who lives there. Linda Alvey went to Cedar City to take tests to get into college at Logan, Geneal Alvey accompanied her. Then Geneal went to Springville to be with sister Ilene Coffman who has a new baby boy. The Vernon Griffins got word they have a granddaughter born to Marlyn and Richand Brant in Wyoming. The Wilford Griffins had a visit from Mary Partridge of Panguitch and Ray and Vernon Lemiiion of Arizona Bill and Winona Boyle took daugh Qhori hark tn Salt Lake to i -- school. Wilford and Ruby Roe of Panguitch visited at the Qene Griffin home. Also from Panguitch came Champ Church and son Wallace to paint at the school, and Afton to visit relatives. Elmo Bushnell brought his daughter Keela here to set up a beauty salon in Gene Griffin's building Hope she can improve some of us. The Rob ert Llstons have her father, Earl Nixon and wife here from Wisconsin. The Lorenzo Griffins have son Lewis and fami ly here from Provo. John and Nancy Droubay had business in Cedar City. Shirlee Spencer took daughter Dotty and Hazel Haycock took son Bryce to Salt Lake for medical treatment, David went to drive Marie Durfey and kids. Jake and Afton Leibenguth also had business in Salt Lake City Everett Williams came from Price to get Caroline and the kids who were visiting at the Claron Barneys Lawana Pratt was home from the parks Reed and Wllmlrth Wooley got word that son Neal would be In Salt Lake for several days schooling but would be free evenings, so they went up to spend those evenings with him Brad and Lois Liston are home from visiting their mother June in California. tana came from Cedar City and Keith Allred joined her here The Wilford Iistons had son Donald and family here from Panguitch, also from there were Doug and Barbara Hay cock and family at the Stan Haycocks. Gordon and Alme da Haycock and family went to Salt Lake City. Brent and Ethyl Durfey oi Wayne county visited here Verda Liston and Koleen Grif fin isited iolks in Panguitch Kate and Iris Porter went there for medical checkups Evan Schow accompanied them Kate's daughter Janet Collins was chosen valedictor lan of her class She, along with Caroline and Jolyn Griffin graduated from Hollywood Beauty school and have good jobs Dixie Mitchell helped Kate and furnished her home for a bridal shower for Gloria who just became Mrs LaMar Grade. Howard and Ida Church and part of their family visited here, enroute to their summer home in Boulder Uvon Roun dy and Darrel Alvey had Gar kane business In Panguitch Delia Barker had a visit from son Roy and family of Salt Lake, they were a little late for her birthday which shel spent all alone thinking back -over her 82 years of living James and Millie Mclnelly and son Vern Arthur went to Ced ar City They told of meeting one of my brothers, the des Cliptton did not fit the one who lives there so it had to be another one. Billic and Minnie Davis had daughter Led a Mae Foster and part of the kids here from Tro pic and Holbert and Bonnie Smith and son Robert here from Cedar City. Minnie went out and got a fancy hairdo then got a headache worrying about how to sleep without spoiling it The Davis' and Blake Robinson went on Cedar Mountain to a Valley Fin ance camp out Mclnelly Mor rell of Junction was here. Iona Alvey had a visit from tier sister Lama Shelba of Redding. Calif. Neal Liston, being brand inspector, had a spe cial Invitation to attend a banquet in Salt Lake City put on by the Agricuture Dept. of the State. Alberta accompanied him and they stayed with Ken and Helen Schow who went with them as guests to the entertainment held at the Grant Miller home. They were entertained by a girl accordian play er. They met Harold Christian sen of Mayfield who was there i presenting the Dairy industry, he is a brother to the late Richard Christiansen who lived here. Ken found an old carpenter co-worker, Grant Miller who helped him build Sylvan Graf's home. Helen took them on a guided tour of the city and surrounding area while Ken was working. They had an enjoyable time I Diane Alvey and Shirley Marsh could not take their 4-H group to Duck Creek so took them to Calf Creek for an ov-ernight camp out. Warren Woolsey went to Cedar City to take a physical before leaving for Missouri where he will attend left handed dental school Kathleen and the baby and Thelma Marsh accompanied him. Roe and Clema Barney and family were here from Page and took Jane Woolsey to Cedar City with them Starns and Fon Mecham, Deon Alvey and daughters Janene, Denise and Raylene; Marlene Haws and children Patrice, Ricky, Terrill and Jlllyn; Lane and Geraldine Liston and kids. Gary Lane and Sheri, went to Hatch for a Mecham family re union Verl Langston and his chauffer came from Richfield to sec to his interests here. Iris Porter had a visit from her friends who live in Springville, Mr and Mrs James H. Graves and Deann Masterson We heard of Annie Alvey being here, did not get to see her but heard that she is staying with son Royal Alvey in Trop ic and he brought her here for a short visit. Told you last week Twila Michaelaagelo was her'1, did not know she Is ac companied by her husband Johnny and their son and dau ghter. Anthony Coombs of Boulder took Jim Alvey from here and Harry Johnson of Henrievllle to Camp Williams for a week's schooling at the Freedom Academy Una Liston accompanied coach Allred to Pleasant Grove to visit his folks Gurena Rob Irson went to Provo to help i daughter Ruth Baugh gel rea dv for graduation.
