Show PANGUTTCII SThe Jim Petersons had his sister and family, Mr. and "Mrs.-Elvln Reed and two children of Burbank, Calif, as visitors for about a week. Dr. and Mrs. Ralph Tingey, son Ralph Hurst and daughter Judy Kay visited overnight Saturday with her parents, - Mr. and Mrs. Bill Hurst, they were on their way home to Salt, Lake after attending a medical convention at Albuquerque. Sunday they helped Mr. Hurst celebrate his birthday and left about noon to get home to help their daughter Margaret Diane cut her first birthday cake that evening. Mrs. Clifford King of Salt Lake visited from Thursday to Sunday with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Parker. Last Thursday, Beulah Allen was hostess at a bridge party for Lea Gai Matrones; Margaret Haycock won high, and shared slam honors with Jessie Cherrington, Wanda Davis won second, and consolation went to Florence Parker; Cleta Cherrington won high guest honors. Mrs. Eva M. Tebbs has left for an extended trip; sho will visit relatives up north, her son Major Merlin Tebbs and family at Idaho, and go onto Rapid City, So. Dakota to stay awhile with son Clark Tebbs arid family for a "special" event. Deer hunt visitors at the Del Miller home were Mr. and Mrs. Riley Miller and family of Kearns, and Dick and Virginia Gibbany. Mr. and Mrs. Garald Elmer and baby of Calif, have been visiting at the A. L. Elmer and Mrs. Tom Davies homes. Alf and Cleta Cherrington spent a few " days for the hunt at the Jesse Cherrington home. Mr. and Mrs. Ned Miller of Salt Lake were visitors at the home of Mrs. John C. Miller for the weekend; they had to return home on business but plan to come back this weekend so Ned can get his big buck. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Wood and two children of Provo and Burdell Henrie of Cedar were, here, Thursday for their grand mother's, Mrs. Sarah 0. Henrie, funeral services; they all spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Henrie. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Calandrt are parents of a baby girt born Oct 12th; her mother. Mrs. John Gardner of Solving, Calif, is here getting acquainted with the new granddaughter. Deer hunt visitors at the Calandri home have been Kenneth McClellan, Frank Olidera and Joe Brace from Solving. Calif. Warren Young came down from Salt Lake for the hunt The Roy Veatert have had the usual full house for the hunt (daughter Mrs. Dortha Reid of San Diego came back with her mother and returned to Calif, after a short visit) ; hunters were; George Billing-sley, Tubby and Dick Hamb-lln, Pat Warneke, Gus Irons, Fred Relnhardt all of Lem-ore, Calif; son Wayne Veater and family came down with friends Bishop and Mrs. Evan Homer, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Ras-mussen,. Jude, Kenneth and Paul Pete Vlsser, Vern and Farnsworth, Theron James, all of Sandy; from Salt Lake were Dayle Perkins, grandson Lloyd Veater, Ken Brown; Kenneth' Perkins of Cedar, who is in the Navy; Hollie Glass of National City, Calif; Frank Klirby of San Diego; Dr C. S. Nasdlne of 29 Palms. No hunt would be complete without the Haycock brothers and they were herefrom Calif, came Fred of Fremont his daughter and her husband,' Dick of Sacramento, Harold of Oakland, and Warren of Deweyville, Utah. Weekend visitors at the Reed Judd home were Mr. and Mrs. Dan Heap and family of Cedar City (Dan spent his time hunting near Hatch) and Mr. and Mrs. Archie Cameron of Springvile were Sunday visitors. Mr. Bob Daly of Las Vegas has been visiting in town. Successful hunters at the T. R. Houston home were: son Wayne Houston, Sid Hogue, Miss Judy Hogue, all cf Costa Mesa, Calif; daughter Mrs. Gaye Pierce and three children of Salt Lake. Here for the hunt at the home of their mother, Mrs. Mae Dodds are Cecil Dodds of Clearfield,? Bob Dodds of Sa.t Lake and Dan Dodds of Magna. Carl Yardley is at Phoenix -where he plans to spend this winter working at the Race Track. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Henrie and four children of Mont-pelier, Idaho, Mr. and Mrs. Jed Henrie and two children and Miss Fern Henrie of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Usher J. Henrie of Richfield attended the funeral of their grandmother Mrs. Sarah O. Henrie last Thursday. They remained at the home of their father, J. Usher Henrie for a weekend of deer hunting. |
