Show LIONS ROAR The Pangultch Uons"ciub held their meeting Monday at the Orton Cafe with President Mayo Rlggs presiding. There were 32 present. The matter of the committee who will attend the Utah Racing Assn meeting at Fillmore Saturday, waa taken up and It was voted not to Instruct Director Lion Tom Partridge of the Assn as to what steps to be taken until he sees the condition of the assn, as this meeting is a postponement of the election which should have been held in Nov., when not enough track members were present. Lion Tom Dodda and J. M. Cherrlngton, who attended the meeting of the committee which had been In Washington In 'Jan. to hear discussions on the Echo Park Dam, gave a report of findings. It waa felt that all should Join the work and work for the establishment of Echo and Glen Canyon Dams. The president advised that the annual State Convention would be held In Logan June 10, 11, and 12, and members were asked to make reservations at once. |
