Show Mr. and Mrs. W. Kay Clark Chirks to Celebrate Golden Wedding Date HENKIEVILLE - W. Kay and Laura Smith Clark will celebrate their golden wedding an-niverary on December 29. Their children will honor them with an open house for friends and relatives at the Henrieville Ward chapel from 3 to 7 p.m on that day. The Clarks were married December 29, 1931 in the St. George LD3 Temple. He is a Can-nonville native, a son of Wilford and Ethel Clark. His wife, a native of Henrieville, is a daughter of James E. and Nellie Smith. The Clarks have spent most of their married life in the southern Utah area where Mr. Clark was employed in Glen Canyon City, Kanab and Bryce Valley areas. As a construction worker he spent time on the Glen Canyon Dam and in road contruction. He worked as a movie extra and stunt man during the period when ! Kanab was a movie i making center for westerns and spent a number of years with the Postal Service at Gleni Canyon City. Upon' !j retirement, he returned S to the Bryce Valley area s with his wife. 8 The Clarks are parents 8 of four chidlren, three K living: Ronald Clark of X Pocatello, Idaho; Mrs. 5 Eugene (LaKay) Quilter oof Henrieville; Mary 8 Carol Izatt of St. George. X A son, Sheron Rand Clark V died in 1900. They have 10 S grandchildren and one great grandchild. |
