Show Mr. Porter To Claim llride in Temple Kite ESCALANTE - Mr and Mrs Harold J. Lyman of Blanding announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Miss Lori Lyman to Mr Kevin L. Porter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vergean Porter of Escalante The couple plan a June 2 wedding in the St. George LDS Temple A wedding breakfast will be held after the ceremony and a reception and dance will be held in their honor in Blanding on June 3 at the Blanding North Ward Cultural hall An open house will be held in Escalante on June 12 at the Escalante Ward Cultural hall Miss Lyman graduated from San Juan High School in Blanding. She attended Ricks College in Rexburg. Idaho. Brigham Young Unviersity in Provo and is presently attending Southern Utah State College in Cedar City. She is majoring in b 'siness education with a minor in physical education Mr. Portrr graduated from Escalante High School. He attended Dixie Jr. College in St. George afterwhich he filled an LDS mission to Washington, D C. He is now attending SUSC where he is majoring in elementary education with a minor in industrial arts. I |
