Show BLACKWELL MECIIAM Bonnie R a c Blackwcll, daughter of Darrcll Rae Black-well of Layton, and Jerry Ernest Mccham, son of Bishop and Mrs. Malcn Mccham of Tropic, were married April 29th at the Mecham home, with Bishop Mecham performing the ceremony. The bride wore a dress of pink tafetta with long sleeves, a short veil, and pink accessories. A reception and dance was given in their honor at Ilen-rieville in the evening. Many useful gifts were received by the happy couple. A very good program was rendered and lunch was served. Attending the reception besides the immediate families of the newly, weds were a large number of out of town friends and relatives besides those from the neighboring towns. Clove with guitar, Bell Cooper gave reading part. Laura Jean Liggett sang "A Bouquet Of Hoses" and played "Spanish Fandango" on electric guitar. Dora Clove read tho history of her father Dannlcl Justctt Jr. and his parents, emigrants from Italy. She displayed a very old Bible, bound Church publications dated 1S53, letters to her father dated in 1801 in Italy, written in French with a quill pen. Handmade tools used in early days in Panguitch were also shown. Lesson "The Mormons In San Bernardino" was given by Mary D. Sargent. Refreshments were served to 17 by hostesses Susa Walk-cr, Dora Clove and Lula Dick-inson. |
