Show Loral J. linrton TUOPIC Loral J, Barton, 56, Tropic, died Oct. 3, 1981, in a Pangultch hospital. He was born May 23, 192S, Tropic, to Claud Leon and Elizabeth Mecham Barton. He married Beatrice Baugh, March 14, 1946, St. George LDS, Temple. He was a heavy equipment operator. He graduated from Bryce Valley High School. He was an elder and home teacher in the LDS Church. Survivors: widow, Tropic; sons, daughters, Clifton Leon, Richard Fred, both Tropic; Norman J., St. George; Mrs. Jody (L'oretta) Purdy, Bridgeland; Mrs. Fred (Michelle) Torres, Cedar City; 11 grandchildren; mother, Tropic; sisters, Mrs. Layton (Florence) Barney, Hatch; Mrs. Fonetta Barney, Richfield; Mrs. Melvln (Dorine) Weeks, Sandy; Mrs. Richard (Margene) Miller, Provo; brother, Delyle, Orem. Funeral services were Wednesday in the Tropic Ward chapel with Bishop Roderick J. Syrett, officiating. Stanley Mecham offered the family prayer and Judy Chynoweth played prelude and postlude music. Melvin J, Weeks gave the invocation. Speakers were Gene Chynoweth, Wayne Burr, Malen Mecham and Bishop Syrett. Music included vocal solo by Laurie Barney; vocal duet by Ralph pk Willi mh Loral J, Barton Chynoweth and Kenny Gouldlng and selection by the ward choir. Richard Miller gave the benediction. Burial was in the Tropic Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Delyle Barton offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Clifton Leon Barton, Norman J. Barton, Richard Fred Barton, Glenwood Joseph Purdy, Fred Loya Torres and Clyde Vern Barney. Honorary pallbearers were Kenneth Nielson Purdy, Jason Scott Purdy, Travis Fred Torres, Bruce Lane Barton, Tyson Loral Torres, Brady Wayne Barton, Andrew Miguel Torres, Cadan J. Barton, Leo Chynoweth, Larry Taylor, Rex Palmer, Layton Barney and Greg J. Littlefield. Sylv Sylvia Judd Sylvia Judd, 77, Pangultch, died Oct. 4, 1981, in a Provo hospital. She was born Jan. 10, 1904, Pangultch, to Joseph Linford and Louella Orton Linford. She was married to Reed Smoot Judd, July 26, 1923, Pangultch; later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died March 14, 1980. She was active in the LDS Church auxiliaries; member of BPW, Lady Lions. Survivors: son, daughters, J. R., Lander, Wyo.; Elolse Heap, Orem; Mrs. Leland (Minnie Lou) Beckstrom, Tooele; Judy Gardner, North Ogden; 13 grandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren; brother, sisters, Bob Linford, Cedar City; Jean LeFevre, Salt Lake City; Mary D. Klimper, San Diego, Calif. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Pangultch Second Ward chapel where friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Burial will be In the Pangultch City Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield. Muttie Koclierlians Mattie Kocherhans, 94, Pangultch, died Oct. 4, 1981, in a Pangultch hospital. She was born Sept. 8, 1887, Panguitch, to William Robert and Nancy Matilda Welch Talbot. She was married to David S. Kocherhans, Dec. 1, 1901, Panguitch; later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. He died Aug. 7, 1936. She had been active in the LDS Church's auxiliaries and was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers. She was a Gold Star mother. Survivors: nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Pangultch Second Ward chapel. Friends may call at the chapel after 12.; 30 p.m. Burial will be in the Panguitch Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield. |
