Show Local and Society Christensen - Blame r Mr. and Mrs. Norman Chris tensen of Kscalante announce the marriage of their daughter Mary to Samuel F. Blauser, son of Mr and Mrs. Lawrence Blauser of Layton. The young couple exchanged vows Oct. 31 at the Christensen home with Pres Chase Shurtz performing the ceremony. The parents of both bride and groom were present, grand parents of the bride. Mr and Mrs. Grace Young visited In Cedar City Tuesday with Mr. snd Mrs. Linden Hatch who are leaving this Thursday for a weekend trip to the Bahama Islands. Linden is manager of a gas station In Cedar and the oil company is sponsoring the trip. While they are gone their two children will stay with their Uncle Jim Young and family at Bountiful. The Archie Talbots proudly report the arrival of a little granddaughter born Sept. 21st to Mr. and Mrs. William Talbot at Carmel, Calif. She has a little sister at home. Mrs Lon EUett of Wayne County and their daughter Ka theryn Orundy. the groom s brother Gary and wife. Lou-Is and Wilms Christensen of Ptovo. and local friends and relatives. The bride is a graduate of the local high school and was employed by the HIM. The groom hss Just returned from a year's duty in Vietnam and after a two week furlough will go to Fort Sill, Okla. to finish up his time In the Service TO W ED At a delightful announcement tea held at the home of Mr and Mrs. Jay Littlefield. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Little-field of Tropic announced the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Judean, to Danny Allen Carter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter E. Carter of Moab. The young couple will be married Nov. 28 in the Tropic ward chapel. A reception will follow In the ward cultural hall at 8 p.m. Miss Littlefield Is a graduate of Bryce Valley High School and has attended Stevens Hen- Miss Judean Littlefield ager Business College where she served as student body secretary and newsletter editor. Mr. Carter is a graduate of the Grand County High School, where he played football, and represented his school at Boys State. The young couple will make their home in Texas. |
