Show Local and Society TO WED Miss Roberta Stowell Mrs. Merle Stowell announces the forthcoming marriage of her daughter, Roberta, to Terry Child, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Child of Firth, Idaho. Roberta graduated from Pan-guitch High School and attend-one year at College of Southern Utah, where she was a member of the Phi Alpha Beta sorority. Terry graduated from Firth High School and has attended Ricks College. He was active in sports, both in high school and college. They plan a December 17th wedding, and will make their home in Idaho where he is now employed. ENJOY HOLIDAY FEAST Forty six members of Mrs. , Alta Henderson's family sat j around the tables of the old homestead partaking of a lav- i ish Thanksgiving feast. Those attending were Bishop and Mrs. Ivan Willis of Escalante and their four children with their families; Mr. and Mrs. O-ra Shafer and their children and grandchildren; the Desmond Twitchells of Cannon-ville with their children and grandchildren; the Donald Henderson family of Las Veg-as. ENGAGED Miss Kathleen Naisbitt Mr. and Mrs. Raymon Naisbitt of Bountiful announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathleen, to Stanley Ray Miller of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Walter D. Talbot of Bountiful are parents of the prospective bridegroom. The couple is planning a spring wedding in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Miss Naisbitt is presently attending the BYU College of Nursing. Her fiance was graduated from USU in range management and has fulfilled an Eastern States LDS Mission. |
