Show Local and Society FITTS HOWARD Jo Ann, daughter of Mr, and Mrs. Robert R. Fitts of Salt Lake, and Nathan L. Howard marriage vows in the Oakland of Millbra, Calif, exchanged Temple on June 16, 1965. The bride is a graduate of BYU and working as an airline stewardess. Many friends and 'relatives, were in attendance. Both the bride ahd groom are affiliated with the College of Southern Utah, ttie. bride being one of the graduates in Elementary Education. Both fulfilled LDS missions, the bride, in Argentina .mission and the groom in" the" North Argentine mission; ' ,,, They, honeymooned at. Arches National. Monument and the Capitol Reef Monument. They are at home in Hatch for the summer where Richard is the manager of the Burger Boy drive-in. LYMAN LeFEVRE On June llth, Gladys Hazel Lyman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Lyman, and Horce Dell .LeFevre, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mac LeFevre, were married at-the St. George Temple. The ceremony was performed by President Atkins. After the ceremony the bride and groom as well as other members of the family, luncheoned at the home of Mrs. Hazel Lyman at St. George. Following, that same, evening, a reception and dance was held at the Boulder Ward Church with a large group in attendance. The bride wore a lovely lace, tiered-skirt, wedding dress and a finger-tip veil caught in a tiara crown. The dress was. designed and professionally made by Mrs. Marilyn Griffin. Gladys carried a bouquet of shaded red roses. Marilyn Lyman stood as maid of honor, and those bridesmaids serving the bride were Twila Behunin, Barbara Brems, Klea Grlener, Sherry Boyle, and Sandra Lyman, who were beautifully adorned in apricot sheath dresses. They each wore matching veils and each carried a matched camellia: Flower girls were petite Betty Brems arid Miss Alice Lyman who wore white and carried a basket of flowers. Michael LeFevre served as the best man. The mother of the bride wore blue lace, and the bridegroom's mother wore a 'two-piece white suit. Both wore glorified Mum corsages. The; church was beautifully decorated with fresh flowers and potted plants. A song, "I Love You Truly", was rendered by the bride's grandfather, Mr. A. V., Nettleship. Many out-of-town guests were in attendance, grandparents of the bride, and groom and many aunts and uncles from outside our city. |
