Show Area Obituaries : , i ' - Katherine Ann Garrard PANGUITCH - Funeral services for Katherine Ann Garrard who was born Jul. 10, 1982 in Panguitch and passed away Apr. 18, 2004 in Perry, Oka. were held Monday, Apr. 26 at the Panguitch LDS 3rd Ward in Panguitch, Utah. Services were officiated by Bishop Wallace Lee and prelude and postlude music was provided. provid-ed. The family prayer was given by an uncle, John Chester Elmer. The invocation was provided pro-vided by an aunt, Arlene Elmer. The congregation sang "Love at Home," accompanied by Ruth Boshell. A tribute was given by a friend, Robbie Irish. Special tributes were also given by brothers J. Brian Elmer and James Garrard and sister Amanda Elmer. A musical selection, "I Am A Child of God," was sung by sisters, sis-ters, brothers and cousins and was accompanied by Ruth Boshell. Bishop Evan Boshell also gave remarks which was followed by the benediction pro vided by friend Rufh Boshell. A graveside .service was also held with Rick Irish providing the invocation. A friend, Michelle Crofts gave a talk and a musical selection, "I Need Thee Every Hour," was sung by the Panguitch 3rd Ward LDS Men's Quartet. Interment was , in the Panguitch Cemetery with dedication dedi-cation of the grave performed by an uncle, Grant LeFevre. Pallbearers were Kenneth W. Hepworth, Randy Muirhead, Chester R. Poteet, Hyr.um J. Elmer, Robert L. Leslie, Randal G. Leslie and Thomas L. Garrard. . Honorary pallbearers were John Brian Elmer, Thomas James Garrard, Austin D. Jack, Damon Lee Elmer, Jeremy Jack, Nathan James Garrard, Rocky Jack, Ozro Kent Hepworth, Stuart D. Mitchell, Dylan W. Hepworth, Charles H. Elmer, Kayton Lee Elmer, Jim Elmer, Gary Garrard and Gregory Tate Poteet. Robert Allen Patterson HENRIEVILLE - Funeral services for Robert Allen Patterson, 76 of Henrieville, who passed away Apr. 17, 2004 were held at the Henrieville LDS Ward Chapel, Thurs., Apr. 22, 2004. Services were presided over by President Klin Chynoweth and officiated by Bishop Ernest Henderson. Military rites were provided by the Bryce Valley American Legion Post 18. The family prayer was offered by a nephew, Derwin Hannig prior to the opening of the service. Prelude and postlude music was provided by Lael Chynoweth. The invocation was offered by personal friend, Stan Mecham. A musical selection, . "O My Father," was rendered by the Henrieville LDS Ward Choir under the direction of Ken Piatt and accompanied by Collette Matthews. Bishop Ernest Henderson provided the eulogy. A grandson, Keith Patterson gave a tribute, "Remembering Grandpa," followed by a nephew, Hap Hannig who also gave a tribute. A friend, Terry rClark gave a tribute. A musical selection, "Love at Home" was ' sung Debbie and Julie Hannig, ; accompanied by Kathy ' Bretzing. Friends Thor Johnson gave insight and tribute as did President Klin Chynoweth. A piano solo, "Somewhere My Love" was performed by friend Christy Clark. Remarks were , also given by Bishop Ernest Henderson. The congregation ' sang "God Be With You Till We Meet Again," under the direction direc-tion of Ken Piatt and accompanied accompa-nied by Lael Chynoweth. The benediction was provided by Matt Wetzel. The colors were retired by the Bryce Valley American Legion Post 18. Dedication of the grave was performed by brother-in-law Ralph Sprague. Pallbearers were Kevin Patterson, Ketih Patterson, Hap Hannig, Derwin Hannig, Ronnie Bigleman, Larry Radabaugh and Jeremy Hardy. Interment was in the Henrieville Cemetery under the direction of Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary. |
