Show Carolyn B. Williams TEASDALE Our kind and beloved mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Carolyn Grace Barney Williams, age 53, died Mar. 24, 1998 as a result of a motor vehicle accident while traveling one of her favorite bi-ways, the east end of Boulder Mountain, between her two homes, Escalante and Teasdale. Carolyn was born to her loving parents, Claron Otto and Grace Elizabeth Ormond Barney, on Aug. 3, 1944 in Richfield. On Aug. 18, 1961, she married Everett J. Williams Wil-liams from Teasdale in Escalante. Their marriage was solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple on Aug. 21, 1971. He died Sept. 23, 1995. Together, they raised their five children, showing them how to love life and people. As a family, they enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, and boating, especially at Lake Powell, skiing, riding horses, rock hounding, and just being together to-gether with family and friends. She was an active member of the LDS Church and enjoyed serving in the various callings she had. Carolyn served as an EMT for 10 years in Wayne County. She was appreciated appreci-ated for her dedicated volunteer service serv-ice in the community. Carolyn was always there to support her children and grandchildren in everything every-thing that they were involved in. She is survived by her children: Kendal J. Williams, Carla Jean and Jeff Coleman, Michelle Colette and Greg Coleman, Joni Le and Nathan 1 -' 11 " . . . ; Carolyn B. Williams Richards and Chad Everett Williams (and his fiancee, Stephanie Edwards,) Ed-wards,) all of Teasdale; and Vivian Ann Bitahy of Glendale, Ariz.; nine grandchildren: Jaron Coleman, Randi Sue Coleman, Danielle Coleman, Dusty Bitahy, Chelsie Coleman, Heather Coleman, Bryce Bitahy, Whitney Coleman and Jalen Richards. She is also survived by her mother, Grace Barney, of Escalante Esca-lante and three brothers: Ray O. Barney of Kaysville; Mac C. Barney of Cedar City and Bishop Wade Barney of Escalante; her mother-in-law Vonda Williams of Teasdale. Carolyn has returned home to her Heavenly Father and reunited with her dear husband, Everett, her brother Roe V. Barney, her father, Claron and her father-in-law, Orawell Williams. Mom, we thank you and we'll always remember your good humor, your sparkle, your happy attitude, your love of life, Tab, your especially espe-cially everlasting love for us, your children Words cannot express the unconditional love you have shown for everyone and the great example you are. You always placed others before yourself, at all times. You have left your mark on this earth and you hold a dear place in all our hearts. We Love You, MOM! Funeral services were held Saturday, Sat-urday, Mar. 28 at the Loa Stake Tabernacle. Burial was in the Teas-dale Teas-dale Cemetery under the direction of Springer Turner Funeral Homes of Richfield and Salina. |
