Show i mm mmmm& ' i Roger Zingelman CIRCLE VILLE Roger Grant Zingelman, 68, died September 20, 1992 at his home in Circleville after a battle with cancer. He was born April 26, 1924 in McGill, Nevada to Herman Marx and Hannah Thelma Grant Zingelman. Zingel-man. He married Eva Dean Gottfred-son Gottfred-son June 30, 1947 in Circleville. The marriage was solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple on April 17, 1965. He was raised in Levan and Salt Lake City and graduated from West High School. He was a veteran of WW II having served as a paratrooper para-trooper with the 517th Airborn Division Di-vision in the European Theater. He loved his country with a passion. He moved to Circleville to farm and raise dairy cattle. He worked for the Piute County Road Dept. and was the Piute County Assessor for 13 years. He loved to hunt, fish, and tell stories and his love for his wife and family was very special. His wife, Eva Dean, cared for him unselfishly throughout his illness. He is survived by his wife, Circleville; Cir-cleville; two sons and two daughters daugh-ters and their spouses, Kathryn and Kenneth Riddle, Cedar City; Dayna and Kendall Torgerson, Circleville; Scott and Camee Zingelman, Cedar City; and Michael Zingelman and Johanna Kellum, Circleville; 16 grandchildren and one sister, Doris Heaps, Sandy. Funeral services were held Wednesday, September 23, 1992 at the Circleville LDS First Ward Chapel with Bishop Roger West-wood West-wood officiating. Family prayer was offered by Kendall Torgerson and prelude and postlude music provided by Brenda Robinson. The invocation was provided by Alfred Fullmer followed by a vocal trio I 1 ! '. Tributes were rendered, by Kathryn Riddle and Roger Scott Zingelman followed by a mens quartet comprised of Rick Black-well, Black-well, Kirt Robinson, Shane Millett and Corey Fullmer and accompanied accompa-nied by Charlene Dalton. Dayna Robin Torgerson and H. Michael Zingelman gave tributes and Kirt Robinson sang a vocal solo accompanied accom-panied by Charlene Dalton. Arthur Gottfredson spoke, followed by remarks re-marks from Bishop Roger West-wood. West-wood. The benediction was provided pro-vided by Larry Whittaker. Pallbearers were Scott Zingelman, Zingel-man, Michael Zingelman, Kenneth Riddle, Kendall Torgerson, Dan Riddle, David Riddle, Gregg Riddle, Rid-dle, Doug Riddle, KC Torgerson, Jace Torgerson, John Zingelman, Josh Kellum, Joe Kellum, and Roger Thomas Zingelman. Honorary pallbearers were Rodney Morgan, Merlin J. Robinson, Maurice Mau-rice Fullmer, Tom Fullmer, Dan Smith, Glen Heaps and Bill Grant. Interment was in the Circleville Cemetery with Kenneth Riddle dedicating the gravesite. Military rites were provided by the Beaver Unit of the Utah National Guard under the direction of Neal S. Ma-gleby Ma-gleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield. Kristin Brothersen MT. PLEASANT Kristin LaRae Brothersen, 18, died September 19, 1992 due to injuries from an automobile accident. She was born June 22, 1974 in Provo, a daughter of Boyd A. and Avrin D. Deuel Brothersen. A very special spirit, she was a member of the LDS church and always al-ways active and involved in projects. pro-jects. She loved community involvement, in-volvement, planting flowers in the city flower gardens and working as a candy striper at the local hospital. She served as an election judge for the recent primary elections. She was a talented actress and was involved in numerous stage productions. She was active in speech and drama, traveling extensively exten-sively with the high school debate team and competing in the Lincoln-Douglas Lincoln-Douglas debates and extemporaneous extemporane-ous and impromptu speaking. Because of her academic achievements, she was accepted as a freshman at the University of Utah. She was employed as a guest reservations clerk at Bryce Village Resort at Bryce Canyon throughout the summer and would have begun classes on Sept. 28. She truly "lit up" the lives of people whose paths she crossed. She was very loved and will be greatly missed by her family, friends and co-workers. She is survived by her parents, sisters, Melody and Tiffany; brother, Adam; grandparents, Verge and Amoir Deuel, Lois Brothersen; and great-grandmother, Hulda Spencer, all of Mt. Pleasant. Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 22, 1992 at the Mt. Pleasant LDS Stake Center. Burial was in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery under the direction of the Ursenbach Funeral Home, Mt. Pleasant. |
