Show flREfi OBITUARIES ) ' LoDema Gates ESCALANTE - Funeral services for LoDema Hall "Dema" Gates were held Thursday in the Escalante LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Jerald R. Johnson, presiding and Elder Lynn Griffin, officiating. Lynn H. Gates offered the family prayer; Areola Gates played prelude and postlude music and Hal Shurtz gave the invocation. Sherry Brown gave a tribute and speakers were Deward Hall and Morris Alpine Shirts. Remarks were by DeLane Griffin and Lynn Griffin. Music included a vocal trio Elroy Willis HENRIEVILLE Funeral services for Elroy Patterson Willis were held Thursday in the Henrieville LDS Ward chapel with Bishop LaMonte Twitchell, officiating. of-ficiating. Steve Willis offered the family prayer; Viola Rose played prelude and postlude music and Kay Mar Willis gave the invocation. Speakers were Cornell Willis, Robert Willis and John Lyle LeFevre, with remarks by Bishop Twitchell. Music included selections by a male chorus; selection by grandchildren grand-children and vocal solo by Kenneth Goulding, Jr. Ivan Willis gave the composed of Marlene Haws Deon Alvey and Geraldine Listen and vocal duet by Lynn and DeLane Griffin. Joey Bleak gave the benediction. Interment was in the Escalante Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Don Coleman gave the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Page Bleak, Donald Neilson, Wesley Twitchell, Deward Leon Hall Richard Bleak, James Dowdle' Stanley Liston, Joey Bleak, Gordon Palmer, Arthur S. Hall and Berdell W. Hall. , benediction. Interment was in the Henrieville Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Quinn Willis gave the dedicatory prayer. Military rites were conducted con-ducted by the Bryce Valley American Legion. Desmond Luke KINGSTON - William Desmond Luke, 37, Kingston, died Dec. 12 1986 at his home. He was born April 13, 1949, Provo, to William Darrell and Mae Beth' Bradshaw Luke. He was an artist; member of the LDS Church. He graduated from Uintah High School, Vernal and Utah State University. He filled an LDS mission to Australia and had been a member of the Utah National Guard. Survivors: parents, Kingston; brothers, sisters, Gaylan B., Salt Lake City; Tauna, Mesa, Ariz. ; Kyle J., Sioux Falls, S. D.; Mrs. John (Dene) Bracken, Magna; Sherree, Provo; Mary Ann, Lisa Rene, both Salt Lake City; Samuel Patrick, Kingston. Funeral services were Monday in the Circleville LDS Ward chapel with Bishop Nick Reynolds, officiating. of-ficiating. Utahna Luke Butler offered the family prayer; Carol Bradshaw played prelude and postlude music and John Bracken offered the invocation. in-vocation. Speakers were Alton Sudweeks, Gaylan Luke, Duane Luke and remarks by Bishop Reynolds. Music included two vocal duet selections by Charleen Dalton and Terecea Westwood and vocal duet by Carling and Carma Allen. Merrill Allen offered the benediction. Interment was in the Kingston Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Kyle James Luke offered the dedicatory prayer.
