Show OBITUARIES Sarah Clark Sarah Clark CANNONVILLE Sarah Ethel Henderson Clark, 96, Cannonville, died March 11, 1983, in a Panguitch hospital. She was born Sept. 11, 1886, Cannonville, to William Jasper and Sara Ann Fletcher Henderson, Jr. She was married to Owen Wilford Clark, Nov., 29, 1911, Salt Lake LDS Temple; he died Sept. 30, 1976. She graduated from Murdock Academy, attended BYU and University of Utah and taught elementary school in Panguitch and Cannonville. She was active in the LDS Church, having served as Relief Society president and secretary and MIA teacher. She and her husband were ordinance workers in the St. George LDS Temple for 13 years. Survivors: sons, Kay, Henrieville; Merlin, Spokane, Wash.; Sheldon Doyle, Cannonville; Kenneth, Salt Lake City; brother, Warren, Circleville; sister, Mrs. Alfred (Opal) Hatch, Panguitch; IS - grandchildren; 33 greatgrandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren. Funeral services were Tuesday in the Cannonville Ward chapel with Bishop Glade T. Shakespear, officiating. Merlin Clark offered the family prayer and Elva Clark played prelude and postlude music. Marion Clark offered the invocation. Speakers were Jim Clark, George Thompson and remarks by Bishop Shakespear. Music Included selections by the ward choir and selection by Cindy Clark. Ariel Fletcher offered the benediction. Burial was In the Cannonville Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Warren Henderson offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Ronald Clark, Eugene "QuilterJ Klin Chynoweth, Fred Syrett, Gene Quilter and Marty Rich. Honorary pallbearers were Kim Clark, Robert Clark, Kowan Ott, Ronald Baugh, Monty Twitchell, Brian Clark, Lewis Izatt, Joel C. Izatt, Gary Syrett and Durk Clark. |
