Show Elmer Henderson CANNONVILLE -Elmer Harris Henderson, 64, Cannonville, died March 5, 1980 in a Salt Lake City hospital. He was born August 29, 1915, Cannonville, to Parley Harris and Evaline Elmer Henderson. He married Betty Lou Peterson August 26, 1946 in Jerome, Idaho. He lived in Boise, Idaho until he retired and moved to Cannonville in 1974. He served in the South Pacific during World War II. He was a farmer and plumber. Survivors: widow, Cannonville; four sons, one daughter: Marilyn Moro, Kenneth, Jon, all Middleton, Idaho; James Harris, Newport News, Va.; David, Kuna, Idaho; 11 grandchildren; three brothers, three sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Dutton, William K. Henderson, both Cannonville; Melvin, Caldwell, Idaho; Mrs. LaRae D. Kiesel, Mrs. Joyce Dutton, Conrad, all Jerome, Idaho. Funeral services were Monday in the Cannonville Ward chapel with Bishop Clele Fletcher, officiating. Bob Peterson offered the family prayer and Marva Fletcher played prelude music. George Thompson gave the invocation. Speakers were Michael 0. Clark, Bob Peterson, Martin Rich and Bishop Fletcher. Music included duet by Laurie Holley and George Thompson; guitar solo, Kenneth Henderson; selections by the Bryce Valley Choir. Joe Thompson gave the benediction. Burial was in the Cannonville Cemetery by NealS. Magleby and Sons Mortuary Richfield, 1 where Alma Fletcher offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were James H. Henderson, David Henderson, Conrad Henderson, Kenneth Henderson, Jon Henderson and Melvin Henderson. Ernui McGuire Erma Jessie Fuelling McGuire, 69, died March 7, 1980, in a Panguitch hospital. She was born July 29, 1910, Park City, to Ernest August and Minnie Bell Evans Fuelling. She was married to Claude Nolen McGuire Jan. 10, 1930, Salt Lake City. Survivors: husband, Panguitch; four daughters and three sons, Mrs. George (Barbara) Scott, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Smith P. (Jessie) Willis, and Mrs. Glen (Bonnie) Owens, both Panguitch; Mrs. Maureen Fleek, Bookings, Ore.; Claude Nolen Jr., Ernest Shelton, both Kanab; Richard Michael, Dallas, Texas; 33 grandchildren, 11 great - grandchildren, three brothers, three sisters, Fred Fuelling, Park City; Robert, New Mexico, Harry, San Bernardino, Calif.; Mrs. Vera Casey, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Lois Delanie and Mrs. Marion Appledale, both Drayton, Calif. Funeral services were held March 11 in the Panguitch First LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop John W. Yardley, officiating. Claude Nolan McGuire Jr. offered the family prayer and Hope Truman played prelude and postlude music. Monty Marshall gave the invocation. Speakers were Ingra Richards and D. V. Worthen with remarks by Bishop John W. Yardley. Music included two selections by the tri ward choir and election by Orton Talbot. Rev. Michael McGuire gave the benediction. Burial was in the Panguitch Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Wayne J. Holman offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Rev. Michael McGuire, Nolan McGuire, Sheldon McGuire, Harold Scott, Smith Willis and Glen Owens. Honorary pallbearers were Grandsons. Oliver Huntington HATCH Funeral services for Oliver B. (Twist) Huntington, were held Saturday in the Hatch Ward chapel with Bishop Dallis S. Barn-hurst, officiating A. Wiley Huntington offered the family prayer and Noreen Evans played prelude and postlude music. Karl Lowder offered the invocation. Speakers were J. Ivor Riggs, A. L. Elmer and Bishop Barnhurst. Music included vocal solo, Ken Roberts, selection by the Hatch Ward Choir; selection by Larry J. Bailey; vocal solo by Darol D. Allrcd and vocal trio by Dorothy Huntington, Monta Ballard and La Von Hinton. Albert E. Dix offered the benediction. Burial was in the Hatch Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Kurt O. Sawyer offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Jesse Lowder, E. Richard Dix, Kurt Sawyer, Mark Huntington, Joseph Allred, Kent Sawyer, Lloyd Allred, Kelly Dix, Kerry Sawyer, Lyle Allred, Patrick Dix, Joel Dutton. Ellis Littlcficlcl TROPIC-Ellis Waldo Littlefield, 81, died March 7, 1980 in Henderson, Nev. after a lingering illness. He was born Jan. 5, 1899, Henrieville, to William Waldo and Sara Estella Savage Littlefield. He married Ida Riding July 21, 1921 in Tropic, later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple in 1923. He spent all of his life until the last 20 years as a resident of Tropic where he was active in community and church affairs. He moved to Henderson 20 years ago when his employment changed. Survivors: widow, Henderson, Nev.; three sons and three daughters, Steve, Heber D., both Henderson; Jack E., Layton; Mrs. Cole (Mona) Lewis, Cedar City, Mrs. Frederick (Nedra) Culp, Madison, Wis.; Mrs. Marvin (Mariana) Swainson, Yakima, Wash.; 16 grandchildren and seven great - grandchildren; three brothers, two sisters; Ray A., Malen, Norman, and Mrs. Amplus LeFevre, all Tropic; Mrs. Thelma Jolley, Cedar City. Funeral services were held March 11 in the Henderson Third LDS ! Ward Chapel. Burial was in the Tropic Cemetery March 12 and dedication of the grave was by brother, Norman Littlefield. , |
