Show Funeral Services Held Monday For James A. Smith Funeral services for James A, Smith, 71, were held Monday In the North Ward chapel with Bishop June S. Bar-ion conducting. Barron; song "Abide With Me", Choir; Benediction, Denny Linford. The grave was dedicated by Earl Smith. Burial was In the Pangultch cemetery under dlrection.of Neal S. Magle-by Mortuary. Mr. Smith died Thursday at the Pangultch hospital of a heart ailment He was born Dec. 20, 1888 in Manden, N. D. to Joseph? Benjamin and Nellie Urcna Huntington Smith. On Sept. 15, 1927 he married Clara Bell Davenport In Pangultch. He was a veteran of World War I. Survivors: widow; sons and daughters: James Ray, George Arnold, Bertha Jean Smith, Pangultch; Mra Arthur (Madge) Nay, Magna; Mrs Ben (Nancy) Morrill, Salt Lake City; Ruby Lee Smith, American Fork; 3 grandchildren; brothers, sisters: Wal-ter II., Grand Junction, Cold; Randolph, Estacada, Ore; Blanche Paulson, of Palm Springs, Calif. |
