Surrounding her chair are (from left) Gary Church, great great grandson; Amy Sevy, daughter; Mrs. Mary Ann Church, great granddaughter; Mrs. Nellie Mary Brown Clark, Oldst In State Has 106th Birthday Mrs. Mary Brown Clark, Utah's oldest resident, celebrated her 106th birthday in Panguitch with a family dinner at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Amy) Sevy, with whom she is visiting. Mrs. Clark recently traveled here from Provo where she has lived for some time with another daughter, Mrs. Laura Clark. Mrs. Clark was born July 7. 1859, in Lehi, a daughter of John and Amy Snyder Brown. She spent her early years in Lehi and Pleasant Grove. On Feb.l, 1879 she married Albert D. Clark in the St. George Temple. He died in 1937. Mrs. Clark has voted in every presidential election since 1880. Mrs. Clark's sons and daughters, besides Mrs. Sevy and Mrs. Clark, are Albert D. Clark, Orem; Mrs. Frank (Nellie) Pace, Twin Falls, Idaho; and Mrs. David (Zella) Adam-son, Provo. Mrs. Clark is senior citizen in a family of six living generations. Her great-great-great-grandson, Richard Saxton, was born in April 1963.
