Show Cannoiiuillc Uqvjz By Marva Fletcher 679-8521 Vaughn Twitchell spent last week in St. George attending LDS temple sessions. Mae Twitchell went to Cedar City Sunday to pick up her daughter, daugh-ter, Lori Munford, and granddaughter grand-daughter Cami and took them to Salt Lake City where Cami will undergo another series of chemotherapy chemo-therapy treatments. Many of our Ward members attended LDS Stake Conference in Escalante Sunday. Royce Melvin Willis received his LDS mission call to Eugene, Ore. He will enter the Missionary Training Center in Provo on Jan 6. He is a son of Cornell and Katheryn Willis and the late Terry Ann Willis and the. grandson grand-son of Bonnie and the late Roy P. Willis and also of Melvin and Nona Hanson of Monroe. Mary Willis and children, Kati, Koby and Koye, Antimony, have been visiting Bonnie Willis and making quilts for Christmas. Mary's father, Cliff Roach, Orem, came with them also. Bishop Larry Fletcher and wife, Glenna spent several days traveling and enjoying the beautiful beauti-ful scenery in the Four Corners area to celebrate their anniversary. anniver-sary. They went to Shiprock, N.M.; Monument Valley, Ariz.; Cortez, Colo.; and Canyonlands National Monument. Their vacation vaca-tion also included visiting a nephew, Robert Fletcher, a niece, Stephanie and husband, Jonathan Scott, in Mesa, Ariz., and Ralph Mangum, a cousin, in Farming-ton, Farming-ton, N.M. The word they used to describe the scenery is "awesome". Clele and Marva Fletcher have two new "great-grandies" added to their posterity this past week. Grandson, Jason and wife, Kodi Wright, Orem, had a daughter, daugh-ter, Jadi Thompson Wright, and James and Cheryl Hawkins, Fon-tana, Fon-tana, Calif, had a new son, Sammy Eldon. Jeff and Jan Stock and daughters. daugh-ters. Amber and Shelby attended son Jeffrey's graduation from Boot Camp training at Great Lakes Naval Base, HI. Jeffrey will stay at the same location for advanced training. Michael Fletcher and small son, Joshua of Hiroshima, Japan are here visiting his parents, Alma and Anita Fletcher. The new home of Jeff and Jan Stock is looking great. They now have the roof on it. Phyllis Beard recently spent a delightful week with her mother in Arizona. She was also able to visit with her three daughters, watch a grand-daughter march in the Veteran's Day parade in downtown Phoenix, and help a grandson Celebrate his 7th birthday. birth-day. After driving in all that city traffic, Phyllis is very glad to return re-turn to the quiet of Cannonville. Mel Beard attended the marriage mar-riage of his daughter, Chalice, in Arizona. Chalice and her new husband and several of her sisters will be at the Beard home for Thanksgiving. Theron and Laurie Coon stopped in for a brief visit with Marva Fletcher Sunday. On Saturday, Rosie Fletcher picked up her father at the Care Center and brought him home to watch Brigham Young University win the football game. Rita Hammer is in Olympia, Wash., helping a daughter and awaiting the birth of a new grand-baby. |
