Show First Security Funds Insurance For the seventh consecutive year, First Security Bank has an- , nounced it will fund catastrophic insurance for Bryce Valley High School students involved in sports or other activities. The $75 donation dona-tion will be presented to the school this fall during a sporting event. In the 1990's, First Security has spent more than $1 million Jo provide catastrophic insurance cpy- erage to all state high school students stu-dents participating in Utah High School Activities Association-sanctioned Association-sanctioned events. Sanctioned activities ac-tivities include baseball, basketball, cross country, drill, football, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, tenuis, track, volleyball, wrestling, and other activities such as- music, speech and drama. The insurance provides income and medical care for life in the event of a serious injury to a student. "First Security Bank is to be commended for its support and willingness will-ingness to fund such a vital program pro-gram for our high school students," said Jerry Bovee, associate director of the USHAA. "Unfortunately, Utah had a very serious sports accident acci-dent last year, but this insurance proved invaluable in supporting the family involved.
