Mr and Mrs. Franklin Hansen were in Salt Lake City where they went with Mr. and Mrs. Leon Walter and children to the Slate Fair. Dorothy Lyman and children, Gladys IeFcvre, Jack, Ronald, and Alice went to Salt Lake City to visit relatives. Mr. and Mrs. John Sutherland, Hemct, Calif, are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Obe Wrlcht Mr. and Mrs Scot McDonald went to Cedar Cilh where Twila was hospitalized for a few days. Mrs Marjorie Griffin was in town giving influenza shots to a number of people Frequent thunder showers brightened the countryside. Many ranchers have their hay cut but are not able to harvest it. Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Peterson, Mr. and Mrs. John Meisenbach, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Max Behunin, Wyatt Jepsen, Mac 1cFevre and Burke Ha fen went to the Dixie Round-up The summit of the Cedar Mountain was covered with snow that evening. Mr and Mrs. Mac LeFevre also attended the Jospeh T. Hall reunion held at Duck Creek. Marion Lyman and Manila Jolly were hostesses. Mr and Mrs Jim Myers of Panguitch visited with the Lor in Moosmans, Otta Haws and the Cecil Alveys. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Davis and children visited parents In Price and Provo during the week Boulder Ward Conference was held September 14. It was conducted by Cllve Bybee under the direction of the Escalante-Garfield Stake presidency. Talk were given by Dale Marsh, Helen Willis, Lester Clark and Tom Soyborn. Also speaking were Rula Spencer. Vernon Spencer, Guy Thompson, Clifford Ridley and resident Lorall Munson. Two musical numbers were presented by the Boulder Ward Choir. Elaine Roundy was released as Irimary choister and Diane Ireston was sustained In her place. Robert Preston was sustained as a Sunday school teacher. |
