Dixie State College, the St. George Police Dept. and several home health agencies are also working to make the event possible. In St. George, the Shoot Out will take place at Dixie State College oh Saturday, November 4. To best enter the course approach the campus from the 100 South 1000 East intersection. Turn right on 400 South then left on 900 East and follow the signs. Hours are from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Tf you live closer to the Hurricane event, drive to the Coral Cliffs Cinema 8 parking lot on Wednesday, November 8 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Flu Shoot Out has evolved into a wonderful community partnership. "The event is part of our preparedness planning effort," says Kay Whetstone, SUPHD Communicable Disease Coordinator. "The Utah Department of Health has requested that all health departments in the state, in cooperation with other community partners, be prepared to hold mass clinics." Flu shots are $25 payable by cash or check (or free with your Medicare or Humana card). Private insurances will not be billed. Please note the change of location this year, with Dixie State College and Coral Cliffs Cinema 8 hosting.
