Show May 21Y 201 Page LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID Henrieville town is requesting bids for the installation of 13 drainage ditches throughout town. Work on these ditches will require the contractor to dig 2 of the ditches. All 13 ditches will need to have the rock removed, both sides of the existing asphalt cut and straightened. Once this is completed, each ditch will need to be lined with 8" of concrete (thick enough so that cars can drive over without breaking), approximately 3 yards per ditch. There must be no gaps between the asphalt and replaced concrete. Concrete must meet the following specifications: 4000 psi, 6 bag mix with 6% air (+/- 1.5%), 3-5" slump. Random testing of concrete may be performed. Bids must be sent to the following e-mail: henrievilletown@scinternet.net and received no later than 2 June 2010. The town of Henrieville will then make the selection with work to begin as soon as possible. Published in The Garfield County Insider on May 27th 2010.
