Syren 679-8687 or vickidiane36@hotmail.com A long time resident of Tropic and a beloved, great Seminary Teacher called "Bro" by his students was Bill Pollock, son of Larvin and Eva Pollock. He left Tropic to go to Delta to become a seminary teacher there and now he is in the Ephraim area with his wife Stacey and family. Bill was just called to be the Ephraim Snow College #1 Stake President. This is quite and honor for Bill and his family. They have a son, Dane, on a mission in Canada. His wife Stacey, just traveled to California to help out with a new baby boy born to Jason and Cecy Wheeler. Cecy is their daughter and this is the Wheeler's third child. They have one girl and one boy happy with the new little arrival. We send our congratulations to the family. We also want Bill to know how proud everyone is of him and wish him the best in his new calling. Eva Pollock tells me she is feeling quite a bit better after a bout of illness. She is also proud of the fact that when this latest grandson goes on his mission they will have five grandsons out in the Mission Field. They just had the willow trees in front of their house trimmed down and their neighbor, Faye Pollock, called to tell them that it was great to be able to see the Escalante Mountains again. We send out our condolences to Mike Mitchell and family on the loss of their mother, Susan Bradley. Susan lived in Tropic for many years and moved away after the death of her husband, Bob Bradley. We want you to know you are in our thoughts and prayers. 1 went to Panguitch the other day and have decided I need to go more as I keep running into old friends. I saw Marilynn Bulkley, Janis Henrie, and Arda Hepworth and it was gseat catching up on old times with them. I have decided there are two specific places you can go to see friends you don't see often at home, WalMart and Tuachaun Theater. I think I will now add Panguitch to that list. Isn't the rain great? It will sure help to green things up and we hope that it doesn't freeze everything. The kids are counting down the days left until summer is out. Around 35 or so one child told me and I can't believe the year is going so fast. 1 often told my students if they would quit getting older and stay the same age that 1 could do that too. Guess what they didn't listen and 1 am getting older. Don't have much news this week. Hope you will call with some news and let us know what is going on in your world.
