This second quarter they must have a 3.66 average GPA and we have Taylor Allen 7th grade, Olyvia Lindgren - 9th grade, Koye Willis - 1 Oth grade, Heather Allen - 12th grade. We are glad to see Kwin Willis again as he is home from his mission to the Mexico Tuxtla Gutierrez Mission. I imagine he is getting ready to attend college in one of the colleges around here. Van and Betty Wiley have been up to Provo for doctor appointments for both of them. Van's bad back has taken a turn for the worse, so he is in a lot of pain but went to Dr. Bacon in Provo for a shot in the back and has to go back for a second shot in two weeks as this shot isn't stopping the pain. We stayed overnight with our daughter Roma and her husband, Raymond. We are glad to get back home where there aren't so many things going on all at the same time. People everywhere! Gavin and Tiana Phillips will be having their new baby boy blessed and we are hoping Van will be up to going for the blessing on the first Sunday in March. Some of the ladies from Antimony are going up to the Ruby's Inn where the beautiful quilters meet every year to show the quilts, teach people how to put on quilts, how to quilt, to buy patterns and materials or anything else the ladies need to know about doing quilts. This is a great opportunity for all of us to learn so much. I noticed in the Reaper that two of the High School students are getting some "Hands On" experience with small engine classes and Fundamentals of Framing. Two of these students are Jessica Savage and Tyson Westwood ofAntimony. Judy Gobel is home from her trip to Arizona and Julia Allen took a fast plane ride to Georgia to see how her mother is doing after her knee replacement. Ned and Coy Burr had some of their daughters here visiting and to check up on them, health wise. Marcia Tobiasson, Van and Betty Wiley drove to Cedar City on Sunday morning for the blessing ofthe new baby boy of Chantry and Rachel Brindley. Van Wiley, the great-grandfather of the new baby blessed the baby and gave him the name of Charmer Van Wiley. Many of both families were there for the blessing and then most of us went on to Sizzlers for lunch and to visit. |
