PRELIMINARY PUBLIC NOTICE This notice provides for a 15 day comment period, beginning from the date of this notice, regarding actions proposed to be taken by the Farm Service Agency to construct and repair damate to the Stephen Clark diversion North of Cannonville caused by flooding in the fall of 2006. The following action is proposed: • The proposed action is to remove sediment and repair structures as needed • Impacts to the floodplain will be minimal and concentrated to the area of repair. • The proposed project is located within the floodplain since there is no other alternateive location to repair the damage. PUBLIC NOTICE James Burdell Henrie and Patricia Ann Henrie, also known as Patty Ann Henrie, have filed a petition with Garfield County to abandon any rights it may have to roads that traverse their properties located south of the Panguitch city Baseball Complex and south of the Panguitch Cemetery in parcels PC 331& PC 341-3. Properties are located in Section 33, Township 34 S, Range 5 W and are generally described in the east half with some small portions extending into the west half of said section. A map depicting the affected parcel and known roads is available for inspection at the Garfield County Clerk's Office, 55 South Main, Panguitch, UT 84759. Known roads being considered for abandonment are as follows: 1. Road south of Baseball Complex parking lot. Beginning at a point at the SW comer of the Baseball Complex parking lot fence running more or less southeasterly 2425 feet to the edge of the Henrie property. 2. Cemetery/South Ditch Road. Beginning at the SE corner of the Panguitch Cemetery running more or less southwesterly 4007 feet to feet to the SW comer of the Henrie property. 3. Graveyard Hollow Connector Road. Beginning at a point in the Henrie property fence line where 1250 East intersects the Henrie property line, East of the Panguitch City Cemetery running more or less westerly 530 feet to its intersection with the Cemetery/South Ditch Road 4. Unnamed Two Track Road #1. Beginning at a point just south of the intersection of the Panguitch Cemetery/South Ditch Road and the Graveyard Hollow Connector Road running more or less southeasterly to a point near the SE corner of the Henrie property. 5. Unnamed Two Track Road #2. Beginning at a point on the Panguitch Cemetery/ South Ditch Road running more or less 820 feet to the SW corner of Henrie property. 6. Other Unnamed Roads that may exist on the described parcel. A public hearing will be held on Monday, February 12, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. in the Garfield County Commission Chambers, 55 South Main, Panguitch, Utah to considered whether the roads should be abandoned. A map depicting the affected parcel and road is available for inspection at the Garfield County Clerk's Office, 55 South Main, Panguitch, UT 84759 The road passes through the Trachyte Ranch property (Parcel ER 73-1) in the E Vz of the NW lA of Section 5, Township 33 S, Range 12 E The road is an existing County Class B Road and is more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point where the road crosses the north section line, said point being more or less 2550 feet east of the NE corner of Section 5, Township 33 S, Range 12 E; running thence more or less southwesterly a distance of 2551 feet to the east property line of the Bastian property, said point being located more or less 1840 feet south and 1260 feet east of NE comer of said Section 5.
