Hours: Monday - Saturday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. 160 West Center Panguitch, Utah 435-676-2248 This week I would like to thank all of the individuals involved with the Garfield County Volunteer Organizations. I don't pretend to work as hard as you, but I was a member of the Garfield County Search and Rescue for ten years and fully understand the personal sacrifice and dedication that it takes to be part of these organizations. It takes volunteers such as yourselves to run Garfield County. A short time ago, I was involved in an accident and I had the opportunity to work hand in hand with some of the finest volunteers there are. It never ceases to amaze me how our communities can come together in a crisis situation. Everyone should know how important the volunteers are to Garfield County. There is always a calming effect when they arrive on the scene. You always show dedication, experience and willingness to work and never give up. You are the true heroes of Garfield County. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart and look forward to working with you in the future as I have in the past. I also want you to know' that if I am elected as Garfield County Sheriff, I will attend your meetings and I will work with you to find better ways to better your organizations. I will do everything in my power to help you. Once again, THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEERS! |
