Good selection of Lynn Griffin's work October 1, 2009 HEALTH CARE Congress has fine health-care, as I understand it. All upright and legal, too. Nothing underhanded. Laws that benefit makers of law? That’s a law of nature. Same thing tends to happen in the Utah legislature. Makes you kind of wonder, though, why this legislation Couldn’t carry over to the entire population. Forty million non-insured, depending who you believe? Isn’t this a crowd of voters Congress could retrieve? Maybe stop a war or two, close some expensive bases. Forty million thankful folks could help some Senate races. But maybe Congress don’t like input from us hicktown meddlers. They get more big-time campaign cash from the insurance peddlers.
