Livestock Show 2009 marks the first year Garfield County will host a Junior Show and Sale. Many Garfield County youth participate in livestock shows throughout the state. The goal of the Garfield County Livestock Show is to provide an event to showcase the livestock projects of youth in Garfield County. They have spent a lot of time to prepare their animals for this show. They will have brought their projects to the livestock show to be judged, graded and sold. It is with the auction that we need the support from local business and individuals. This program depends on the generosity of our community. The animal you purchase will provide you with top quality locally raised meat. The livestock show will begin August 21 at the Triple C Arena. They will start with showmanship at 10:00am on Friday morning, followed by the market class judging Sat 2:00pm. On Saturday the day will start at 9:00 am with a free buyer’s breakfast. The Auction will begin at 11:00am. So mark your calendar and us for the First JR. Livestock show and Auction in Garfield County. |
