Surely, there Is some way to Induce the Highway Department to remedy this, other than to await the Inevitable deaths that will result If this danger tls not removed. &: 1 HEARING ON RAILROAD PETITION SET The Union Pacific Railroad Co. has filed a petition with the Interstate Commerce Commission for permission to abandon the Fillmore-Delt- a branch line. The hearing on the petition will be held at the Hotel Utah on August 25th, at 9:30 a. m. of representatives A committee from East Millard County has been named to appear at the meeting and bow cause why the railroad shoutd not be removed from this community. Two Grandsons Taking: Aviation Training Richard Peterson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Noble Peterson of Della, left Tuesday morning to report at Bt. Mary's College for hts primary training In Naval Aviation. Dick, aa he Is better known, was accepted some time ago, but has Just mow been railed. He is ihe sec end grandson of Mr. Daniel Melville to go into aviation. Clayton Huntsman, son of Mr. and Mca. Alonzo Huntsman, and Mr. Melville's grandson. Is conxpleUng his basic training In army aviation, and within the next week or two will be sent on to some other training center for his advanced flight training. He Is now stationed at a camp near Fresno, California.
