Several Answer: sportsmen have asked this question in the last few days thinking the deadline had passed for an elk permit. Apparently there is some confusion based upon the July 28 closing date tor applying for antelope, moose, buffalo and big horn sheep. Open bull nermits by may be purchased personal or mail application through August 25, The cost for the permit is S15.00 and must accompany the application. A person mac request an open bull permit and apply for the restricted (cow) permit at the same time.
