It was presented at the conclusion of a three-da- y Press Convention In Salt Lake City. The award Is for the projects during the year In the Community. Every weekly In Utah is judged together. Other awards judged according totheslze of the newspaper. This Is the second such award are won by the PROGRESS, the first was In 1965. His later skills have been put to good use In the Millard Eagle Yearbooks where he serves as the advisor. Mr. Morris has also managed a hardware and appliance store for some 30 years In Hinckley. He Is also In the ward Suna day School Presidency, charter Lions Club member and has served as President of this group for several years. Bookkeeping, type, yearbook, office education are all subjects mastered by Mr. Eugene Morris. Married to the lovely Betty Jane Morris, the couple has seven fine children; l.e., Ruth Anna, Janet, Lee, Mary Kae, Shelia, Roslynn, J Grand. After serving four vears tn the Air Force.
