Show Friday, December 14. 1017, THE EUREKA REPORTER A Night In A Cabaret Was A Splendid Show The Haunted Pajamas i At Star Thursday Next Fennells Meat Probably the most unusual photoplay of the season is the Metro-Yorproduction The Haunted Pawith Harold Lockwood as jamas, star, which will be seen at the Star Theatre on Thursday next. Adapted from the well known novel by Francis Perry Elliott and directed by Fred J. Balshofer, this production partakes of the nature .gf a farce, an extravagansa. and a powerful dramatic story. Nothing like it has hitherto been seen on Further attractiveness is added by the clever work of the favorite star, Harold I,orkwood, and of his charm' ing leading woman. Carmel Myers. Characters change about in The Haunted Pajamas like figures in a kaleidoscope. The star changes before your eyes into a Chinaman; in the same way a blonde young man changes into a beautiful girl with dark hair and eyes. Presto.change! is the order of the day. and it is all ithe fault of those bewitching pa (jamas, made from silk from the looms of an ancient Chinese Empress. Anyone who puts them on j becomes instantly transformed into someone else, and the complications are amazing. No one who goes to see The Haunted Pajamas could possibly be bored. 8tar Theatre ou Thursday. ke and G rocery Our cash business is rapidly growing. The rea- son is we are saving our customers money. Two of the public school districts of the state have this year for the first time employed school nurses. This is one of the most important steps they have ever taken. It may safely be said that an efficient school nurse Is of greater value to any district than two teachers and school costs less. No principal, where a nurse's services has been given s fair trial, has ever been willing to do without It. A school nurse is s teacher of hygiene and sanitation. Wo learn better by actually doing things than by merely hearing or reading about them. That la why every well equipped school has workshops and domestic- science rooms to train both hand and brain in doing things of value in after life. The school nurss trains the pupils in the actual doing of things necessary for health. She teaches them habits of personal cleanliness and also obedience to the laws and regulations of the atats and city health departments. DIVIDEND NOTICE.
